Social broadcast radio network:BlogTalkRadio raises $4.6 mil

BlogTalkRadio, the online social talk radio broadcasting network, has raised $4.6 million in Series A financing. The Kraft Group, which is headed by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, was the lead investor, along with former hedge-fund manager Scott Sipprelle and other private investors.
The company plans to use the money for product enhancements: integrating video and increase brand awareness, advertising sales and marketing resources. Several leading companies and organization like Sun, Intel and the Department of Defense are using the platform for creating their branded network with online news and content for customers and employees.

BlogTalkRadio has a listenership of over 3 million and broadcasts more than 400 new internet radio shows daily.
