Today, Wikinvest launched with the web’s first-ever interactive, embeddable stock chart. The charts are as easy to embed as a YouTube video, and users can click, drag, pan, zoom, and play with no page refresh. And it’s all completely free. So here’s how Nasdaq is doing today using a wikinvest chart

The stock charts are definitely very cool. With full AJAX functionality and an Adobe Flash implementation, it does have an eye candy to it. Viewers can click on the charts above and add annotations , enlarge the size and also includes a embed

Wikiinvest is trying to be the wikipedia for investing enthusiasts. The questions that remains is would you trust a site which is open to editing by pretty much anyone registered for making investing decisions. As a general rule that I have followed is it pays to double check data even on wikipedia before just taking it at face value. The same problem will be there with wikinvest.
