Dell’s new eye candy Studio Hybrid!

Dell has just announced the Studio Hybrid, the most eye candy Dell probably is every going to get. It’s Dell’s smallest desktop PC, about the size of a collegiate dictionary and fits just about anywhere. Depending on the location or decor, the Studio Hybrid can be set up in a vertical or horizontal orientation, and be personalized with a choice of seven optional, interchangeable external finishes or color sleeves: Bamboo, Emerald, Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Slate, and Topaz.
With a starting price of $499, the Studio Hybrid packs a lot of features in a small form factor and a small price. Dell is expecting a wide range of uses for the web 2.0 iphone generation using the Studio Hybrid: creating mash-ups, content for personal web pages, editing and uploading videos and digital photo albums. It’s power efficient as well and consumes 70% less energy compared to desktop mini towers.
What else can it do?
- The Studio Hybrid can connect to an HD TVs via a standard HDMI port.
- Wi-Fi networking ready – allows people to place the PC anywhere that’s convenient for them.
- Wireless keyboard and mouse for a clean desktop, counter top or coffee table.
- Integrated Blu-ray Disc drive for watching high-definition DVDs.
- TV tuner that enables users to watch, pause and record live TV.
