Verizon FIOS/High speed and Yahoo team up

Yahoo and Verizon have reached an agreement to provide a Yahoo portal for customers of Verizon’s FIOS Internet and High Speed Internet services.
Verizon’s 50 Mbps (megabits per second) downstream and 20 Mbps upstream FiOS Internet connections is through the company’s all-fiber-optic network and is the fastest available in the U.S.
Beyond news and information, the co-branded Verizon-Yahoo! portal will offer access to content and tools from Yahoo!, including e-mail previews, to-do lists, sports updates, weather, finance portfolios and TV listings, as well as photos and videos from Flickr. Verizon custom features include one-click access to Verizon.net and other select Verizon and third-party sites
Yahoo has a similar deal with SBC for their high speed internet customers.
