iMP Warning: Obama “Sex Scandal” is malware

If the Election season was not scary enough for you, there is more to worry about than how many houses John McCain own. It is the question if Barack Obama is a “sex tourist”. But your curiosity might lead to Identity theft.

According to multiple reports, there is a spam mail in circulation claimaing Barack Obama was having sex with a many Ukrainian girl in 2007 while on a trip to that country. Not surprising, the email claims to have a video showing the same and clicking on that video does show you a pornographic video (not including Barack Obama) but in the background, a malware is being installed on your system that steals your personal information and sends it on the Internet. So much for your “Obama curiosity”.

The content of the email is as follows:

From: xyz@obama.com

Subject: Barack Obama Sex Story with a girl

Sensations… United States Senator for Illinois Barack Obama in 2007 was travel to Ukraine and have sex to many ukrainian girls. You may view this private porno in a flash video. Download and view now. (Links to malware video). Please send this news to your friends. Obama is not the right choice.

There should not be any need to say that this is just an attempt of stealing your passwords and credit cards and there is absolutely no evidence that Barack Obama is part of any sex scandal.

There is also no evidence that mail was circulated by John McCain or Republican National Committee as a sick attempt to distract voters from the issues.
